Frequently Asked Questions

Who will lead the tastings?

Our hosts for tasting events at The Tasting Room will be from the wineries themselves! Typically, the host will be the winery owner, the winemaker or their tasting room director. The tasting experience will be unique to each winery and will be similar to what you would experience if you were to travel to their winery. On very rare occasions, if the winery personnel is unable to come, Scott Dyer, WSET Level 3 With Distinction, will lead the tastings.

Is there food available with the tastings?

Tasting tickets cover the cost of the tasting experience, complete with an individual charcuterie box. The charcuterie boxes, typically with cheeses, meats, nuts, crackers and dried fruit are paired by the winery specifically with their tasting offering. If you have gluten, nut or other allergies, please email us at info@tastingroomdallas.com and we will try to accommodate any specific needs you have. For most of our tasting events, the charcuterie boxes are prepared by our wonderful partner, Café Momentum. For more information on their amazing work, please visit cafemomentum.org.

What is the difference between “Classic Tastings” and “Reserve Tastings”?

Classic tastings feature high-quality, essential wines from our winery partners.

Reserve tastings feature limited production, top tier and/or library (older vintages intentionally held back for aging) wines.

Can I reserve a private tasting for my group or company?

With advanced notice, we can accommodate a private tasting with a specific winery for a set fee. Please email us at info@tastingroomdallas.com for more information.

Is it safe for me to come to The Tasting Room? What about COVID-19?

Yes, we are doing everything we can to ensure your safety. Masks are strongly recommended when entering each of our tasting venues. Once you are seated in the Tasting Room area, you may remove your mask. Each of our venues offers plenty of room to social distance. Additionally, the vast majority of winery employees in California and your hosts, Scott and Vonda Dyer, have been vaccinated.

What about parking?

Free parking is available at all of our Tasting Room venues!

What is your refund policy?

Because of the costs associated with our winery partners coming in to join us in Dallas, all tasting ticket sales are final. Tickets may be transferred to other guests. Please email us at info@tastingroomdallas.com if you have specific questions or plan to transfer your tickets.
